Think Aloud is a comprehension strategy that asks students to say out loud what they are thinking when they read or solve a math problem. It is important that teachers model this Think Aloud Strategy to show how expert thinkers solve problems. As students think aloud, they internalize what they are saying, which helps them learn.

The following videos are math videos where the Think Aloud strategy is used. Each GED math video focuses on a singular math problem and is solved in a reflective thinking manor. Most GED math problems are under 4 minutes in length. When you click on image, it will take you directly to the You-Tube video.
