Multiply_by_2_and_

**When you multiply by two, you are doubling a number.  For example, when you multiply 4 x 2, you are doubling the digit 4 which equals 8.

**When you multiply by three, it can be a bit more tricky, but if you memorize the first several multiples of a number it will be easier.  For example,  4 x 3 is equal to 4 + 4 + 4… or in multiples…. 4, 8, 12.  The answer is 12.
